Other causes for the turning of the steering wheel causing the lights to turn off:
1). Bent light rod. 2). The older repo light switch rods were too thick and would bind in the shaft. |

My switch doesn't turn with the steering wheel. I"ll be working on it today. Trying to figure out how to take the headlight switch out. clean it up and try that. Thanks everyone.

a lot of time when the light turn on or off when turning the steering wheel is caused be the horn rod being bent. the horn rod needs to be straight. also some if not most reproduction horn rods are bigger in diameter than the original so you can NOT use the upper bushing. on the new wiring most venders use the wrong bullet type ends where they connect to the head lights. the wrong ends do not always make a good contectBratton`s has the correct end part #20421
