only to a fanatic collector, and only if all the tools are original, i see every one of those tools at all the swap meets i go to, not all in one place but all most all the venders have one or two of them from $1 to $3, the only thing there worth any money is the grease gun, and only if its original to the car and it works

I agree the money is in the grease gun. I have seen some grease guns go for over $400. I am not sure what made them worth that much, but wish I knew as I have about 20 different styles of grease guns. Most have been bought cheap in small boxes of tools at local auctions. The trick is figuring out what they originally went to. Rod

Most of those wrenches are for model T,s The spark plug-cyl head wrench also has the hex for the TT rear wheel nuts.Like Tom says, the grease gun is likely for 29 Chev or any car that used the 2-pin Alemite fittings.

If someone is prepared to pay top dollar for an item, then that is what it's worth to "TO THEM". Good luck to them they got the item they desperately needed and also the seller for acheiving a good result from his sale.
I also was looking for a grease gun to complete an otherwise very complete toolkit for an English car which I own. Missing only the Grease gun I was prepared to pay up to $175 for one and that was the maximum bid I entered in Ebay. I was lucky to get it for $12 (twelve)which was the starting price and nobody bid against me. I was overjoyed at getting it at $12, but "TO ME" it was and still is worth $175

The point's not that everybody "wants" $300, but that at least two people thought it was worth that. And, to them, maybe it was.

I know I "overpaid" for a AAA porcelain badge but 1-I'd only ever seen two
from this club in an area of about 2000 people 2- I really wanted it 3-I had the money and it was worth it to me 4 I had only ever seen two of these and one was on the truck of the people I bought it from.

(Now, I have seen three total, but the 3rd was aluminum stamping-and I own that one, too.)
