Default Can I use a 30/31 radiator with a 29 crossmember?

My street rod frame has a 29 cross member, but I would like to build a 30/31. I think the cross member will make the radiator sit a little high. Anybody worked with this situation before?

I put a 30 radiator and cowl on my 29 chassis and it seems fine. The ears on the bottom of the radiator were not wide enough to fit the original holes though
