Default 1937 Pickup Horn Button

I need some help wiring my horn button on my 37 pickup.
I know the horn needs constant voltage and will activated by grounding through the horn button.

My issue is I do not have the original wiring harness and I am not sure if I run the ground from my horn to the brass terminal with the tiny set screw in the center of the backside of my horn button ( A in the picture).

If so, this would mean that the brass disk labeled C would have to be grounded thru the retaining spring B. B would have to ground to the inside of the steering wheel and from there to the steering shaft and on thru the steering box to the frame.

It seems like this would give a lot of points of failure.

I am hoping one of you guys has been here before me and can share the wisdom.

Thanks for the help.
