Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
The Delux Tudor had a more comfortable and larger bucket seat, which is also adjustable.

Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
The biggest difference is the drivers side floor being equipped with seat tracks and seat adjuster for the sliding seat. The front seats are wider, curved back seats with the drivers seat even wider than the passenger seat. They are technically the same as Victorias (mostly steel back version) and the 400-A Convertible Sedan. I suspect the reason the letter states "Convertible Sedan" is the Tudor and 400-A have the same number of pleats.

Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
Approximately 24,000 Deluxe Tudors were produced in 1931.
Also, the rear window shade was a silk-like material instead of standard cloth. Ray |

Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
I almost forgot! They also had a stripe around the inside gas tank panel that matched the one on the outside of the car.
I am restoring one to enter fine point judging possibly in Lexington next year or more likely in Tacoma the following year so I should know these things!! Ray |

Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
Did it have the sunken rear seat floor like the A400 or just the flat board like the std Tudor?

Re: 31 Deluxe Tudor differences
The Deluxe 55-B also had carpeting and nicely pleated seat covering.
