Default 2 more cams

I had my original 8CM cam reground by Clay Smith to a C-284-R profile, which due to a mix up in emails wasn't the one I wanted, but I figured I would keep it for a future project, as Clay Smith talked me out of using it in a mild street engine. The specs are as follows,
INT. OPEN 30 EX OPEN 74
INT. CLOSE 74 EX CLOSE 30
LIFT .355 INT/EX
DURATION @ 0.050 252

The cam I ended up using was a Schneider 270F. The specs are as follows,
INT. OPEN 24 EX OPEN 66
INT. CLOSE 66 EX CLOSE 24
LIFT .365 INT/EX
DURATION@ 0.050 234
LOBE SEPARATION 111

Has anyone run either of these cams?

No but the Schneider looks like a good one to me ! I always like the most lift for the least duration ! I have had a lot of success in many race engines with cams like that !
Cheers

Bob/Ohio, were you asking for the 8CM grind at Clay Smith? I've been looking for someone to do that grind.

Binx,
My core for the regrind was the original out of my 52 Merc engine. After emailing cam specs back and forth several times,on different grinds,I sent them my core, and they reground it to the C-284-R by mistake. I really wanted the 272-2. They sure do a nice work, and are great people to deal with!

The Schneider 270 is a very good grind
But they only regrind a 0.365 lift on your core.

If you want more lift, they take a new casting

Then it gets expensive
