Still were doing it that way in Huntington Park, CA (LA area) in 1967 when I was a cop there. It was two ladies, and they were publicly referred to a "Meter Maids" and were not offended by it. Chap

Cops don't get involved in parking issues down under. It's managed by local council - and some of those boys & girls can get an authoritarian head swell let me tell ya !

Yep. Had the old WLA' Harleys and sidecars down here in Hobart Tasmania.
