This vehicle was purchased in original unrestored condition in Florida and began a complete frame off restoration to original specifications with direct communication and documentation from the Henry Ford Museum. The frame was restored to original and completed in 2006. The original motor was rebuilt at the same time. All wood framework in the cab was replicated and remade by a professional boat builder. All original steel body panels were stripped, faired and reprimed for final paint work. This vehicle had no rust and all panels were in near perfect condition. Original samples of interior fabric were sent to Lebaron-Bonny and professionally restored. All seat frames, springs, cushioning have been redone to original.

The vehicle was in "rolling chassis" condition in approx. 2008 when the restoration was halted due to a death in the family. Since this time the vehicle has been stored in a locked garage under cover. All trim, glass, chrome pieces, emblems, and interior upholstery have been stored in air-conditioned storage. The motor turns over freely but does not start. The body is resting on the frame and will need minor prep work for final painting. Pictures attached show the restoration process along with photos in its current condition. The vehicle has been recently surveyed by a proffesaional classic Ford appraiser and valued at $57,000 as-is. I am in no rush to sell this vehicle and will respectfully ask anyone not interested in restoring the car back to original condition to not contact me. Here is a great opportunity to finish a very rare vehicle to the specifications you prefer and enjoy an extremely impressive part of American automotive history. Thank you for your time -David
