Ford F-1 Spindles
Can some one out there tell me if the 1948-56 F-1 spindles are the same or if the 48-52 are the same and 53-56 are different Many thanks Tom

The nomenclature you list is not correct. F1 is 1948 to 1952. 1953 through 1956 are F100. And yes, they are different.
Here is the difference in distance from backing plates. The backing plates and other brake hardware is the same, brake shoes and drums are different. Note: These photos are not mine, collected them off the internet some years back. |
