Repacking Wheel Bearing
I'm in the process of repacking the wheel bearings on my '31 coupe but I'm having problems removing the front hub on the passenger side. I removed the cotter pin, axle nut and washer but the hub doesn't slide off like the front drivers side did.
Any suggestions on how to get this hub off? Is there the possibility that the brake shoe is pressed up against the hub causing it to be stuck? Thanks. |

Re: Repacking Wheel Bearing
31, It could be, back off your brake adjuster. Also could be the outside bearing is stuck to the spindle. Try tapping around on the hub with a drift an small hammer.

Re: Repacking Wheel Bearing
if it doesnt come off with the brakes back off, then its most likely as was stated the outer bearing is stuck on the spindle, use a 3 armed drum puller
