Default Should I pull the trigger?

It seems like a good deal, but I was wondering if anyone on the site is using this current setup in their car. I have a 55 Ford Fairlane - was this a pretty straightforward install? How is the unit holding up for you?

Reverend, if you are running a very mild or stock cam, it will work great. My Isky cam only makes 11 inches of vacuum, so the booster wont work for me.

Years ago I had a '69 Mach I Mustang with power front disc brakes. It had a black "V8" can (at least it looked like that) as a vacuum reservoir.
Is that something that can be added to older cars to augment low vacuum for power brakes from a cammed engine?

Another option might be the "hydro boost" like the stock pump on my 81 GMC with the 5.7 diesel. The p.s. pump supplied hydraulic boost for the power brakes. It has worked great on my old pickup for the last 34 years even after I switched to the gas V8 engine.
