Default Farm found 42 stake-bed

Hello all, A neighbor has offered me this 1942 Stake-bed. It is in pretty rough shape but it is mostly all there. Last registered in 1984....

If the price is right, go for it, it looks like a worthy project.

Agreed. Quite the farmer fix to the door for the dented cab, though. That could be a challenge to fix.

Looks like a tree fell on the roof and they cut the door top off to open it. They also banged out the roof enough to still use it around the farm. Did they save the door top. easy fix if they did.

I suspect it probably runs since they went through all the trouble to get into it using the drivers door.

If you can use it than buy it. Don't make it yard art. These trucks know how to work.

Looks great to me! There should be a lot of doors in your area with rusted bottoms if you need a top. The tin on that truck looks excellent. I have grill bar envy from what I can see of them. Original ford script stakebed too makes it all the more interesting. Now go out and retrieve that thing.
