Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat out of a 58 Edsel? I removed the bottom of the seat. I also took out 2 bolts from the bottom of the back part of the seat. The back part comes forward at the bottom but is still attached at the top somehow. I though it would just pull down? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the seat-back slides straight up.
It hangs on a pair of hooks near the top.

dmsfrr is correct. A few sharp blows up on the bottom of the seat frame should do the trick.
