Default Flathead Carb Problem:

I took carb off cleaned and truck runs a lot smoother now.I had some sediment in the bowl.Only problem I noticed now is when I come to a sudden stop the truck just about cuts off.I noticed even going over speed bumps it wants to cut off. What could be the problem here? This is at idle speed when this happens. This is on 1952 F-1 with 239 engine.

Did you bend the float while cleaning? Maybe check level.

Yes. I would suspect the float level is set too high.
