Make sure the ignition is fully retarded before you do it.
If you google "Start Ya Bastard", you'll see that Nulon puts it in cans.

I had a similar issue, at a stop sign.engine would just shut right off.took me awhile to figure it out.i replaced the gas cap and never had a issue again.these model a can make you scratch your head.Lol
