Default 54 Vicky floor braces

Hi I need to replace most of the floor braces on my 54 Victoria, they are the ones that also work as body mounts.

I am aware that there have been opinions expressed in the past as to the quality of various reproduction body parts manufacturers.

I have found a company EMS listing the parts that I need.
Does anyone have experience with their parts?

I am in New Zealand so any parts that I purchase will cost me plenty, it is a big deal if I end up with junk after the also, expected, long waiting time.

Any help with choosing the right parts would be much appreciated.

Thanks Geoff

I used their body braces and some floor sheet metal pieces on my '55 Merc. In my opinion you can't go wrong with EMS. Buy with confidence.

The quality of EMS is high. Unfortunately they weren't making the floor braces when I needed them so I cut the floorboards out of a Victoria to remove the braces and used them on my Skyliner.

EMS is the BEST! Really good fit (perfect) on every piece I have used from them. Pricey but well worth the extra cost over many "other rans" IMHO.

EMS body repair panels and floor braces are top of the line, duplicate of original of high quality material and made in the USA. If you got the extra money for the good stuff, go for it. Unfortunately, I'm a cheap SOB, so I made my own floor braces out of scraps of 18 ga sheet metal using a sheet metal bending brake. Everything was cut using a carpenters jigsaw with a metal cutting blade. Lot of extra work, but they turned out good and saved a ton of $$$.

I've bought EMS front and rear floor panels and other patch panels for my '54 Ranch Wagon. Very happy with the quality and fit. I've purchased directly from EMS by phone as well as from Shoe Box Central. Both shipped quickly with reasonable shipping charges considering the size and weight of the panels. I'd check with Shoe Box first but you can't go wrong with either source. IMO
