Default Model A Cut Away Engine

City: Tazewell
State: TN
Price: $1950

This is an ex Ford Museum display. This still has the Ford museum acquisition numbers on it. This is the first two cylinders of a model A engine. The oil pan has been removed and a cast iron base made. You can turn the flywheel and see all the parts move. At one time this resided in Henry Fords outer office before it was moved to the museum. It was sold at a Ford museum auction in the 1980's. This is a truely "One of a kind" item. You can call me at 423-626-8236 until 10pm. Don't be shy, make an offer!

Why not make it a tax deductible contribution to the new MAFFI museum? I'm sure they would be delighted to display it there.

an excellent plan...no better place for this display to be seen by thousands of Ford enthusiasts. Definitely something worth considering.

Note the difference in the tapet bosses, lifters and valve guide design. Is this an early motor casting or ?

While this IS a good idea, I have another project that needs attention (money) so this cutaway has to be sold.

Tim,..Late crank and 3 main cam...no. I did think the valve guides and
lifters were interesting tho.
