Default Henry weird model A prototype.

What you know about Henry weird experimental prototype?

For satisfy one of the Henry whims, engineers and mechanics, turned the seats around in a model A, so they faced backwards, and switched the steering gear so it turned the rear wheels This in effect, put the engine in the rear, but left it driving the front wheels.

I'd never heard about Henry's aversion to long crankshafts as a reason why he may have been opposed to I-6’s.

Years ago one of the car magazines lifted the body off of a mid-60's Chrysler, turned it 180 degrees and reinstalled the body. Then they drove it all over LA scaring people.

It supposedly goes back to the Model K and the crankshaft having problems in the inline 6.

I believe Ford was working on the X8 for eventual use in the Fliver,, the every mans aeroplane.. An early crash of one of the plane caused an end to its production..
A V12 aircooled was produced for use in the Tri-motor,, but,, was stopped.. I don't know why though..
