Can't see it because I have an ad blocker. And I'm not getting rid of that.

Good point made by the video: Original old cars in nice condition are more marketable than modded cars in equivalent condition. People often believe that their tastes in customization are universally accepted by everyone else.

Still, I think the prospective buyer mentioned in the video could've sized up the car's originality BEFORE flying out to see it in person.

Depends on the mods. My '54 Ranch Wagon with a 302/AOD combo, Maverick 8" rear, a knee knocker a/c unit, and front discs is a much better driver than the old 239 Y block and 3 speed stick with no other mods. It looks original to all but true purists. And to them so be it but IMO its worth more than a completely original stocker but as I said that's JMO. Yours may vary.

I think the message being conveyed is at selling, a modified car will have less value than an original car. You do what you want, but if I personally came across a car that had a SBC and electric steering, I would walk away from it unless the car was unique and could be saved.

Or perform the modifications in such a way that it is easily reversible and have saved the take-off parts.

Not meant to wedge anyone's panties, just something to point out.
