Default H&H Touring motors

Last week I saw some information on the H&H touring motors but it was on someone elses computer and now I cant find that link. I have looked at the H&H site but it says to call for more info. Anyone able to provide me with any links specific to these motors?

If you go to them. Find a crack free block, and send it in for rebuild and make sure you get the same one back. They aren't the greatest at block repairs, but they seem to be okay at machine work and putting them together

'they seem to be okay at machine work'...Hm, brings to mind recent past thread by James Rogers and the engine that he was redoing machining for a customer of his. Anyone know how that one came along?

H&H = Hatchett & Hammer. As I have heard said, "What good is their warranty if I have to keep using it".

The customer called today and he is ecstatic. The leak at the rear main is all but gone and the engine noise has disappeared with the modified oiling system, plenty of power and quieter by far. Oil pressure is lower but acceptable. I found many problems, most due to lack of oil to major parts. I can't positively identify the motor being built by H&H but it has all the earmarks of one.

A few H & H engines in my club. It seems leaks are very common. I have never heard a power complaint though.

When I bought my PU, the engine came to me as a supposed H&H rebuild. It runs just fine. Especially after I replaced the main caps, rods, pistons, rings, valves, tappets, camshaft, timing gears, head, oil pump, water pump and distributor. Not all at once, just no sooner that one thing got fixed, another problem showed it's ugly head.
