28 CC Pickup visor cover
Looking for a pattern for a 28 CC pickup visor cover. Does anyone have a pattern that they would not mind sharing. Thanks

Re: 28 CC Pickup visor cover
First, you need to decide how you are going to sew it. Are you looking for originality, or just to cover it? Why I ask is to do it as original, you need a long-arm sewing machine to be able to sew the inside of the visor around the metal frame. Otherwise you must lay it out and sew the perimeter first, then sew the upper and lower pieces inside out and add the perimeter binding. Next glue a piece of cardboard to the vinyl, and then install the cover and glue the upper and lower covers together to replicate the visor cover being sewn originally. The front will have the binding follow the lower edge from the windshield pillar on one side to the other side. You are generally better to trim your visor cover to fit your metal framework. Otherwise it sags and droops.

Re: 28 CC Pickup visor cover
i would like to make a cover like what used to be supplied by Snyders, but is no longer available. We have many sewing machines, but will probably use our upholstery machine. The only long arm machine we have is a quilting machine.
