installing stainless trim on running board
Newbie here with a question about installing stainless trim on running boards of a 29 roadster. I removed the old trim and rubber map and was wondering if the rubber mat should be installed first then the trim over the mat? I know I should remember how it came off but there was significant time between removal and now re-installing. Thanks

Re: installing stainless trim on running board
Did this to my Model A when the original running board edging was damaged. If the stainless edging has a lip, then it goes on the side of the board with the lip over the rubber mat. You may need to glue the mat before installing edging. Use stainless screws too!!,
