Model A Production #'s and general Info
Hi Guys,
I have seen these nifty little plaques at some of the cruise-ins and car shows detailing specs of the model a, production numbers for certain models and years, etc. to help educate the public about our machines. Is there some site that may already have and share this info so I can start my own info sheet on my model a? Looking for bits like 1931 Special Coupe, xxxxx # were produced from plants a,b,c, etc.. It seems like I have seen this either in a book, catalog or website, but my memory is not helping much on locating the info. Help is always appreciated - Dave in Boise |

Dave,
I beleive there will be an article in the upcoming issue of Model A News (MARC) on Model A production numbers (hope people understand it...if not...oh well). Also the "complete" article is on my website. Also you can order from the Ford Archives the 1928-1931 Assembly Record Types, Acc. 622, Box 1 for any year you wish. This gives on an individual break down of body styles HOWEVER it is in "generalities" on some of the vehicles. Pluck |

Re: Model A Production #'s and general Info
Dave,
The Pendleton Round-up parade is September 11, 2010. Hopefully some of your group will be able to get there...we need 100 Model A's for the 100th year of the Round-up. September 13-18, 2010, I will be helping Jack Remillard in parking the cowboy and cowgirl horse trailers as the come in to do their riding events. So "Let'er Buck"! Pluck |
