Default Watch as an Automaker Crushes and Melt’s Down Cars in the Early Thirties

We found rare news clip footage showing an automaker recycling 600 scrap cars a day in the early 1930s. In the one-minute film you will see cars semi stripped, crushed and then pushed into the furnace to start the cycle all over again. View it on The Old Motor.

I have seen Ford footage of Model T's being crushed as Ford entered the Model A era. Very interesting and thank you.

At least, they weren't being sent overseas, to come back to us, as Harbour Freight tools.
They were turned into our "A" Models and Flathead FORDS.
