Lot of work, is it the salt air or just from being wet all the time?

Dunno, certainly salty air from a coastal environment, but also pretty northerly so not particularly balmy. Salted roads in winter, too, which doesn't help.

Oh, didn't think of salting roads over there. They do here and it's terrible.
