drilled the holes for additional weld surface to give more strength and a nice aesthetic touch. This will flow into our motor mounts and front spring mounts.

UPDATE ON THE BUILD: Motor mount plate in progress. JG Design & Fab is doing a great job on this. The motor plate design ties back into the overlay plates on the frame posted above. Mounts will feature urethane bushings on the ends with a through bolt to help dampen the vibrations this things going to make.

Update from JG Design & Fabrication on the Monster build.

"After laying our spring fixed position, cycling the suspension, and determining our shackle mounts while giving us 45* degree shackle mount. We used a hole saw to drill the frame at 1.5" hole, then cleaned the holes up to make sure they were straight and level side to side. To verify our side to side trueness we run our bushing sleeves in the frame with a 1.25 OD tube through the frame / sleeves. Once leveled and squared, we tacked each side inside and out, then welded it out. We then ground our welds out, installed bushings after greasing with wheel bearing grease. Then a simple shackle install and there we have it."

MAJOR UPDATE:
From Justin at JG_Fabrication on the Monster build.
So here's a finished install of our shackles. Then a reference picture of rounding our tube overlays on the motor plate. We used heat, then the persuader aka a hammer, rolling them over the tube, tack l, weld, repeat. Once cooled we installed bushings in the motor mount then bolted up our tabs. Our tabs helped center the motor in the chassis, then just had to position it front to rear and centered our rear tail shaft verifying the motor square and level in the chassis.

Good feedback on the design location. Seems many want the Monster design on the back with a front logo. Also thinking about offering up some hoodies as well. I'll make a decision soon and there is a good chance you'll be able to do pre-orders on the site this weekend.

Swapping in some Mummert rods. Original heads from "the Flying yellow brick". new stainless 2.02 intakes 1.6 exhaust ported polished, these heads made 350 horsepower on a 258 cubic-inch Y-Block. should run pretty good on this. .125" over 272 block with 12:1 compression. We have paint.
