Default Recently finished 37 Woodgrain dash

Here is a 37 dash that was recently finished for a fellow Barner. We are up and running at Honest Charley's! Our turn around is usually less than two weeks from the time we receive your dash and moldings. For those seriously interested in having their parts wood grained we will gladly send you out a sample plate with your proper grain/ink and base color.

No, we are doing it the way Henry did.using the correct graining plates, base colors and ink. We then clear coat and bake. The dipping process looks good, but they don't have correct grain patterns and colors.

I did this Yankee signal lever for my 37. I realize it is not the proper grain pattern but I did my 37 with correct base color and 34 burl pattern.

I am interested in what plates you have for 1933 woodgrain ?
when you do a 33 is it the same pattern for 34.
If you look on e-bay an original 34 5-w coupe is for sale and it
has 33 woodgrain ( look close and you will see the glovebox door is 34 woodgrain and rest of dash is 33 woodgrain ). Also to those of you that know almost everything--- whats with the tag on firewall ( it looks original ) I will post links

Nick, We have all of the original Ford graining plates and I have a chart at the shop in witch I can validate the proper base colors and graining plates. If my memory serves me right, the 33,34 both used the burl graining pattern with different base colors. I will do you a proper sample plate the first of the week and get it out to you ASAP.

We had a lot of response on our woodgraining this past weekend! We are working hard on getting samples made up and out to those who inquired. Should have them by the end of the week!

Nick, I checked out the pictures on the site you sent me, your right! it looks as though it's 33 pattern. I wonder if it's an early 34 and just received 33 wood grain?? who knows! I do know there was quite a bit of variance between base colors in the different manufacturing facilities. I would love to see some of your NOS parts! Here is a pic of the 34 burl grain as we do. You can e-mail me at [email protected]
