Wow, a free tote bag. I dont know how you do it. Maybe it's because your prices are about 10% higher than everyone else.

Default Not Another Tote Bag!

I buy from C&G especially when I don't want to wait for one of the east coast outfits. We need for these guys to be in business for the good of the west coast V8ers, but.. It might be better if they used the classifieds to post their adverts and not a message board. Not a big thing, but a tote is the last thing I need. Would rather have a three dollar discount on shipping, which would really get my attention. Thanks but no... Fred A

I order about $54.00 worth within the alloted time period. Where is my tote bag??
Also for your information, the gas lines from the carb to fuel pump had metric fittens.

Charles,
Thank you for the order, and the feed back on the fittings. Our tech will check that out. Unfortunetly when the order was placed there was no mention of the "barn find tote" coupon code. If you do place another order with us, and mention our conversation i would gladly send a tote bag to you with your order. Thanks again.

Interesting comment. I have bought a lot of stuff from C and G and I always check prices before I order. I have never seen their prices be any higher than anyone else. Almost always they have the parts in stock and they tell you who is the supplier of the part. I don't live all that far from Sacramento Vintage Ford and their prices are not different than C and G. The problem there is they repackage everything and you have no idea who supplies the part. I suppose everyone has an opinion about who supplies their V-8 parts. I think oldford should at least prove his case on the 10% higher price before making that type of statement.

I just ordered a C&G catalog today and I believe they said it could take up to 10 weeks to get it to me. Looks like I'll miss out on that free tote bag deal but I'll probably place an order anyway based on all the positive remarks I've read here on these recent C&G posts.
I did look at some prices on their on-line catalog and they appear to me to be the same as most of the other well known old Ford parts suppliers.
If C&G offers some tech support or other help to folks here on this forum that would be a real plus for them in my book.

I'm in the middle of consultation with Cody about a brake line package for my AV8, to be shipped here to New Zealand. He has been on the ball so far, so I have only good things to say about C&G.

I've just completed a transaction with Cody, and to tell the truth I've found him far easier to deal with than Macs, where I've bought my stuff from previously. He's gone out of his way to help, and I'll recommend C&G to anyone that listens.
Being overseas, shipping is a big expense for me and the likes of Macs, Speedway etc only offer one option.... the most expensive. Cody has shown me that there are other options, and I thank him for it.
Marty.

I've used these guys for years. Found them (usually Kyle) to be very courteous and efficient. Built two complete projects with his help. I don't need the tote bag, but when I want parts I call em. I find them helpful in getting the right part in the mail. And it don't hurt that they always seem to know me and express genuine interest in whatever project I'm working on...slim
