Default Muffler Outlet Pipe Bracket (e28)

Can someone kindly post a photo of the ‘flat strap’ style muffler outlet pipe bracket properly installed? My originals may suffered inappropriate bends in them over the years … currently, my exhaust pipe sits at the same level of the rear axle shaft housing - don’t think that is correct

I don't have a picture, but your sketch shows it correctly. My Aries exhaust comes out below the rear axle.
I've seen many of the older cheap mufflers where the end of the pipe points at the axle housing.
