Need basic wiring dia. for 12v conversion
I am in the process of changing to 12 volt neg ground one wire altenator. I have the entire 1929 car set up without body or wiring. I want to start the engine, does anyone have a simple wiring mockup just to start and run the engine. I need to to include the starting wiring and ignition wiring. I am using a 12 volt coil, battery, and just a on/off switch.

Re: Need basic wiring dia. for 12v conversion
Run the battery cable to the starter switch. Also connect the alternator output to the starter switch. Run another wire from the starter switch to the OFF-ON switch and from the switch to the coil + terminal. Run the coil - terminal to the points.
Turn on the switch and push the starter switch and the engine should start and charge the 12 volt battery. |
