Is this a trick question? If so, wouldn't the correct answer be 'Other'? My vote of "Other" would be to use a heater unfreeze a block.

Over 50 years ago, had a Model B engine that was stored out of doors for about 12 years, & after removing the crankshaft & three (3) pistons, found one piston stuck that would not move up or down by hand.

For seven (7) days, turned engine upside down & then right side up, & every day filled the crevice between piston & cylinder with "Liquid Wrench".

On seventh day began lightly tapping piston on top with a wood 4x4 & tapping both sides of the piston's bottom with a wooden tool made with (2) shaped 2x4's with a horizontal 2x4 on top.

When the slightest movement occurred, applied more "Liquid Wrench" mixed with about (20) % motor oils.

Cylinder cleaned up with "Liquid Wrench" on wads of (0000) steel wool.

Really old, sunken marine engines have been freed by putting a load of
burning charcoal briquets in a stuck cylinder, and leaving them in place
until cool. Vacuum out the ashes.
Follow-up with MMO and tapping with a wood block and mallet.
