Default Finished assembling my 2016 JS - PIA!

I finished putting together my 2016 Judging Standards this afternoon from 3 different packages of material. (I ordered a full set.) It is all together now, but it was an unnecessary P.I.A.

Now, someone had that on their computer. All that needed to be done is to do a global search & replace to all the footers and change them all to "reviewed 2016" since that would apply to both the new 2016 pages and the 2011 pages that were left alone. Then print the full standards in order. Then all I, as the purchaser of this $55 book, would need to do is insert the dividers.

BTW Yes I already sent an email to the MAFCA with this suggestion for the next revision.

I had a similar experience, and with the same questions. It was a royal pain.

It was interesting to see all the information, both new and old, as I put my book together. Well worth the time.

Any pilots here remember putting in the update pages to the Jepp manual each month? I had a definite sense of deja vu putting in the standards updates...
