Default S/W 160-B Rear Carpet Install on Seat Riser

Hi, everyone...

I saw a pic somewhere here on the FB regarding attaching the rear carpeting to the rear seat riser....can't remember where.

Right now the carpeting is merely pushed against the rear seat riser (and tends to fall forward)...but there are 4 or 5 holes neatly spaced across the riser of the rear seat....that apparently take male buttons so that the carpeting could be snapped up against the riser - and stay there.

Is anyone familiar with this? (The standard Lebaron-Bonney male snap pieces do not fit and they claim that they don't know about that part of the carpeting in a 160B)....The current male pieces from L-B do not have the diameter for the holes that exist there now on the riser....they're too small.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 160-A, B, and C are unique to Model A's in the area of the rear carpet. All other models (where applicable) have an independent seat riser carpet permanently fastened with screws and/or tacks. The 160 series Fordor bodies had a single piece rear carpet which also covered the seat riser. The rear carpet on these was fastened with a special fastener in the carpet with a floating stud which snapped into holes in the floor AND top edge of the seat riser.

I hope that all makes sense as I don't have any pics to show the fasteners!

Marco...this does indeed help me very much to know that there are fasteners for that area.....now I need to chase them down. They must be different because the standard male button parts were too small a diameter for the holes in my riser...thanks again!!
