Default Rivet installation

Good morning
I was hoping to learn a little bit about installing rivets. The best way, tricks, etc.
Getting the tools I might need and so forth.
Thanks
Mark
P.S. I'm putting the pickup bed back together on a 36.

Know what size rivet you need and get the correct sized pneumatic rivet gun, rivet tooling for the gun & the buck. Plenty can be found on Ebay.

It's a two person job. One to hold the buck, the other to use the gun.

I'm not sure on the sizes yet. I'm getting one of the rivet kits from Mack Hills.
So, whatever they send me. Don't know if they are hot or cold rivets either.

rivets are set cold, I used air hammer with rivet punch and heavy steel bar as a buck. Pete

If you are interested in authentic look. They are waffled. At least in 38...

Do a practice run if you can. I'd certainly take up the previous offer.
