Re: Industrial flathead
industrial engines sold by ford, gm , chrysler are sold by a separate industrial engine divisions that spec out the requirements for customers, industrial engines are made to run 24/7 at constant power, they usually are not that same as car engines

Re: Industrial flathead
Call me a cheapskate if you want, but 500 is too high unless it has a money back guarantee, if cracks are found when Magged.
I bought last year, 3 engines, all with money back guarantee. All had severe cracks when tested that were unseen with the naked eye. All were returned. I got a good one from Vern Tardell before he left for Texas. It was perfect for the same 500 bucks |

Re: Industrial flathead
So 1 out 4 was good, that tells me a good solid engine should be worth more than 500
