54 Merc Monterey carpet & seat covers?

I have been searching for proper fitting carpet for 52-4 Merc Monterey 2 door HT (no post) & NOBODY seems to know that HT's were made prior to 55. Can anybody send me a link or 2 to known sources - bet your guesses will not pan out. I can find nothing for seat covers.

Wouldn't the carpet for a 2 door sedan and a two door hardtop be the same ?

The bodies are WAY different, I think the sedan may be a fair amount longer - haven't checked the specs though. Don't want to gamble the $$$

I thought the roof line was different, but the interior was the same length. I'm sure the front seat carpet is the same, and the rear just has to make it to the front of the back seat. The supplier should be able to give dimensions to figure it out.

I have always relied on local upholstery shops to do my seats & door panels. It may not be 100% correct to the factory ones but close enough to suit me and give it a great look, plus the cost would be far less than buying materials from any interior supplier connected to the hobby. I had a guy do my seats and door panels from my Edsel 2 dr HT for $600, material and labor, whereas the material alone from an old car supplier would have run several times that. I was lucky in that I had no broken or rusted springs. Carpets should be available from most Ford vendors (got mine at Classic Auto (formerly Obsolete Ford) in Oklahoma City. The only ones they don't have are 1949-51 Mercury
