Front leaf spring?
Should I get the Posie super slide front spring, is it a better ride, or is it not a big difference, and just get the stock, which is about $50 cheaper?

Re: Front leaf spring?
Remember the Posie super slide will probably look like this at the end. I think there is a spring cover in my future. I haven't installed it yet so I cannot comment on the ride.

Re: Front leaf spring?
I have found the best ride is an origional spring, linish any wear ridges ,round and taper the ends and grease between the leaves.Especially so if you run tube shocks. The new leaves seem very stiff and this compounds with tube shocks. If have a car with each setup and find the first setup explained above the best ride by far.
Super slide is designed to get the money to slide very easily out of your pocket. |

Use spring lube. Do not use regular grease or oil. New springs, shocks, and completely rebuilt front end, along with braking system. Now your set. Enjoy. |
