Number stamped in sill plate.
While taking the wood apart on my '31 130B I noticed a number stamped in the wood sill that runs the length of the body on top the frame. The number is located between the metal sill plate and the package tray/seat on the drivers side. There is no numbers on the pass side board. Thoughts on what the number means?. The left side of the pic is the inboard side where the package tray sits and you can see the outline of where the metal sill plate sat to the right of the number.

Re: Number stamped in sill plate.
Typical location for body number on Canadian built A's but would usually start with an initial for plant location. Contact this guy, he has lots of info
