Default Headlight Housing Ring Replacement

Has anyone replaced the inner headlight ring that is spot welded onto the headlight housing? I have a set of headlights for my '30 tudor with great rings but the housings are not good, and a set of housings with rotted rings.. I'd like to switch the rings to the good housings. I don't think replacement rings are yet available from suppliers?

Look at videos from body shops. There are spot welders available at a reasonable price. You will have to drill out the old spot welds to remove the rings. You can also plug weld where you drilled out the old spot welds with a wire welder and then dress the welds with a small rotary grinder.

The buckets are stainless and the rings are coated (zinc?) so a weld is probably not a good choice.
I replaced one of my inner rings using JB Weld. I ground the original welds from the inside with a Dremmel tool.
I got the ring from Bert's Model A in Denver. I saw that Snyder's Antique Auto also has the rings. Part # A-13010-B.
