Please help identify these cars.
Is there anyone able to help identify the following vehicles. They belonged to my wife's Grandparents in Zimbabwe (formally Rhodesia ) we think in the early 1920's. They may not have even been Fords but we have had to start somewhere.
Thanks. |

Re: Please help identify these cars.
In the center photo, the car on the right is a 1924 or '25 Model T Ford. The car on the left looks like a Moon. Maybe 1924 or so. The radiator was shaped a lot like a Rolls Royce. By 1927 it had changed to a rounder style. Only a guess. The bottom photo could be the same car. The car behind the tent in the top photo looks a little like a '30 or '31 Model A Fordor but I doubt that it is.

Re: Please help identify these cars.
Hi 15max. Many thanks for your comments. I have since been investigating the identity of the vehicle on the left in the middle photo. A couple of weeks ago we went to a swap meet and to our astonishment saw this early Essex Six. I took a couple of photo's of it and on my return home, compared it to the old photo we have. I am in no doubt it is the same make of vehicle. Mystery solved??
