Re: rpu.1930
I have an early (narrow bed) '31 roadster pickup. Not much wood. What are you having trouble with?

Re: rpu.1930
You can get pretty much anything you need from Brookville Roadster. They have reproduced pretty much all the sheet metal the picture of my 31 roadster pickup shows a complete build using nothing by reproduction parts, body, bed fenders etc.

Re: rpu.1930
Hi Saladbar,
Check out the local club (for help installing) and ebay, craigslist, Bert's in Co. for original parts. And welcome to the hobby. Mike

Re: rpu.1930
the wood kit has 6 pieces. The 1X1 fits across the seat riser side to side. The 2 curved pieces are used to back up the door panel dove tails. The last 3 pieces are the same, have a taper at one end. These help support the back of the tub. R un from near the top of the tub (taper side against inside of tub) down to the seat riser, bolts to back of seat riser.
You have to drill the holes in all the wood pieces. Hope this helps. |

Re: rpu.1930
John,
You might find the following photos of the drivers door jam useful. The fasteners marked "1" are 5/32 course screws that pass through the wood and have a square nut on the end. From the outside the heads look like rivet heads. The fasteners marked "2" appear to be normal sheet metal rivets that do not pass through the wood. The two fasteners marked "3" are 5/16 screws that pass through the wood and retain it. The two fasteners marked "4" do not pass throughout the wood but go into an open area notched in the wood as shown in the fourth photo. Let me if you need anything else.
