Flywheel dowel retaining plate - odd
I have a flywheel dowel retaining plate the came from an August 1928 engine that I disassembled last spring. I never saw one like this, even in my July 1928 CCPU engine. The pictures show an "extruded boss" which contains a felt washer. This engine didn't have the transmission with it. Has anyone else seen a retaining plate like this? Any information would be welcome. Any purists have an interest in this part? Thanks. Don/WI

I'd be interest in it for my 28. I haven't seen one like it, but have the complete multiplate tranny and flywheel to put back in my 28.

What you have is a plate used with the multi disk clutch flywheel.
