Re: 26 t coupe top INFO
3rd Attempt: I have no info on wood, however I read about topping material several years back(someday I'll do my sedan). Begin by centering, tack middle of front to header. Move to rear and pull taut. Tack middle of rear. Move to front, pull taut to corners working out wrinkles. (easier with two people, however check each others work as one may pull harder causing off centering) Finish tacking front header. Work down the sides working out wrinkles as you go. Finish at the back. I'm sure others will offer more info. This will give something to plan for. (For reasons I can't recall I haven't visited in years, but you may want to try posting on either MTFCI or MTFCA. Both sites are "T" specific.) Good luck enjoy your day.

Re: 26 t coupe top INFO
Try fordwood.com They have drawings showing the wood in place - might be a starting point. Most fasteners are wood screws or "stove" bolts.
Do not glue the pieces together - they need to flex with the car. |
