I went to a rural auction today as there were a number of older cars listed on the auction bill. There was a 31 Model A Coupe that was mostly rotted out, siezed engine, no glass or interior and solid misfit wheels that sold for $8000. Can you believe it? That along with some other 20 year old rotted out junk pick-ups, I couldn't believe what some unknowing people will pay for old vehicles. There was a decent 41 Ford V8 panel truck that did sell for $4200. though.

All it takes is two people who have it in their heads (other reasons also) that they must own that particular car, will run the price to rediculous levels!
