Help..Drivers Door Latch 30 ccpu
I bought a new door latch from Snyders.
Where does the square end on the latch return spring go? Inside the door or just left the way it is and tighten the screws. It seems to cause the latch to bind either way. Are there some adjustments I need to make to the latch? Thanks, |

See #4. You have to tuck the spring past the metal edge of the door as you install the latch assembly. It's a tight fit and tough to not scratch the paint.

I wonder how much time Ford allocated on the assembly line to get the latch assembly in the door in the first place? |

Having just gone through the same struggle with both doors, that same thought came to me as well. |
