Default installing pistons

EGGE pistons notch to front,rod pisser to inside or outside, or does it matter?
looking down from the top.

The piston notch faces forward. The connecting rods are installed so you can see the number stamped on the sides of the big end when looking at them from the side of the block along the oil pan rail side. When the rods are installed in this manner the oil squirt hole will be facing in the correct direction.
