Default door panal clips

Are these the correct clips for installing the door panels? These are out of stock but says more coming. Just want to make sure they are the correct ones.

If you can not find the clips use heavy duty Velcro strips (1/4"-1/2") around the perimeter of the panel. I found some at a fabric store. self adhesive and holds like h**l!

Those look like the correct clips. But I agree with fordor41 about the velcro. I used it on my '56 door panels and in over 10 years they haven't moved or come loose. Unless you're a purest and want 100% originality, I'd also recommend velcro strips.

Great idea. Thanks for the tip, will probably go that route.

Ok on the spring type clips. What is the correct size to use. I see so many different sizes do not want to get the wrong ones. Thanks

The rectangular shaped spring steel clips are for the bottom holes in your door panel. They fit into that pocket-strip at the bottom of the door. The wire clips are for all the other holes around the door panel. It is necessary to slide the bottom of the door panel down into that pocket first, then tilt toward the door first then hit the lowest wire clips into the holes and work your way up on both sides.

when I use door clips, I lightly coat them with grease before pushing them into the hole in the door. makes them lock into the hole easier.
