For sale is a beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird. This car was purchased in 1998 as a complete, unrestored original car. The previous owner is certain that the 97,461 miles are actual. The car received a frame-on restoration that was completed in 2000. It has only been occasionally driven to local car shows and has less than 1,000 miles on it since the restoration.

I have inspected this car thoroughly, driven the car, and put it on a hoist to inspect the undercarriage. I can confidently say that the workmanship on this car is excellent. Everything is assembled in a clean and professional manner.

The paint was done in the original raven black and is show quality. Likewise, the interior was restored to the original black and white combination. Just before this listing, the car was detailed. The seat is very comfortable, and the dash has been restored beautifully. Both the tachometer and clock are operational and in fine working order, as well as the rest of the gauges. The steering wheel is wrapped in black leather, which exudes a luxurious feel.
Driving this car is a blast. I feel confident in the car's operation, and with all of the smiles and thumbs-ups that I get, it's definitely a crowd pleaser.

As you can see in the photographs, the car has both a soft and hardtop. The soft top look new, and the hardtop is in excellent condition.

The car is equipped with a 312 and automatic transmission. The car runs and drives very well. The brakes work well, and it accelerates smoothly. I would not hesitate to drive the car cross-country. Everything on this car works as it should.

The car was restored to original specifications, except for disc brakes in the front, and a handling package which includes a rear stabilizer bar and heavier springs and shocks, all of which certainly make the car drive better. It also has an AM-FM cassette radio that fit in the original opening, so the dash has not been cut.

The data plate is as follows:
40A A XA 29ESE255
VIN P6FH301689

This car has a clear Colorado title. We can arrange shipping anywhere.
