Curious if anyone can provide a measurement (or two) for me...I need the distance from the center of the front cross member to the bottom of the upper radiator tank. Also distance from the tip of the fan blade (please specify fan style) to the bottom of the upper radiator tank.

All original parts including the 2 blade steel fan, on my 9-27-28.

Thanks Tom! Out of curiosity, does your chassis still have the solid front motor mount?

BTW, on the 23 1/8" I could be a hair off because I had to curve a bit around the fan shroud, so I took that into account on the figure.

No worries, that adds up pretty well - center of fan is about 14.75" from the middle of the cross member plus 7.75" fan radius (approximate) plus .625 fan clearance is 23.125 on the nose.
