Re: HOTRODSURFERS 48 Ford project
Wow! Nice find. Too many folks get hung up on a long term restoration. I would get that running and roadworthy, then enjoy driving it. You can do little repairs/cosmetic things as you go.

Re: HOTRODSURFERS 48 Ford project
Fine car - really like the period 50s interior! I would clean her up get her running good and by no means chop her - she looks great as is.
My avatar is my Grandpas orig car - he did hop it up after WWII 46-47 and that is how she looks today. I have a few pictures in my album in the profile Have fun John |

Re: HOTRODSURFERS 48 Ford project
Now that's a plan! It is nice to see fellas dig the look if these cars without always chopping them - they are great in period hop up or stock spec to bomb around in.

Re: HOTRODSURFERS 48 Ford project
Looks very nice. That's the way to get 'em, a nice complete car, not a picked over body on a frame.

Re: HOTRODSURFERS 48 Ford project
That looks like a pair of fender skirts in the trunk, plus an extra set of hub caps, and new brake lines. Enjoy your new car.
